are experienced in responding to 136 suites and managing the subsequent Secure Ambulance Transport requirements of service users following their assessment.
POLICE CUSTODY
Patients who are detained by the Police under
Section 135 or 136 of the Mental Health Act will often be taken to a Police Custody Suite.
UK Emergency Medical Transport will ensure a rapid response to enable Service Users are moved to a more appropriate place of safety without unnecessary delay.
ACUTE MENTAL HEALTH PATIENTS
Persons who are in need of intensive support, this may be as a result of a crisis episode during their mental illness.
WARRENT EXECUTIONS
UK Emergency Medical Transport
Work in Partnership with local Police and AMHP as a
Multi-Agency approach to executing Warrants for the purpose of sectioning or recalling service users.
This is usually from their place of residence.
Our Secure Ambulance Transport Team will then convey the service user to a designated place of safety for appropriate treatment.
